In this episode, we explore the patriarchal culture of demonizing women and why exponentially increasing groups of women from all backgrounds and demographics are seeking empowerment through dark goddess archetypes, witchcraft, and feminism as a counter to the increasingly inept and apathetic masculine collective . Divided into 2 segments, the first is a more intimate, personal exploration of how traumas in my life including childhood bullying and sexual abuse led me down a road of rebellion seeking to make sense of dysfunction and the absence of positive leadership and masculinity in my life. Part 2 explores a wider, more generalized sociological and socioreligious perspective on why witchcraft has become increasingly accepted and acceptable to women as a means of protection and power in a world where the men who we were promised would care for and lead us proved incompetent and ensnared in lust, addictions, and frivolity.
